Weekend Baking! The Pie Edition

Hey Reader,

Growing up, I loved pies, especially apple, because my mom made the most amazing pies. When I started the blog, I had the goal to learn how to make pie as good as my mom's.

While her's will always be the best, I think you'll like some of these pies and galettes.

  • ​Blackberry Galette: Oregon blackberries meet a flaky brown crust in this simple and yummy dessert.
  • ​Raspberry Galette: I had no idea how good baked strawberries were until I made this galette. Baking raspberries somehow makes them sweeter, and when you add vanilla, it's the chef's kiss.
  • ​Peach Crumble Pie: If you love peaches and a crumble topping, then you gotta try this pie full of fresh peaches.
  • ​Cherry Hand Pies: I discovered the secret to a delicious sweet cherry pie filling is to add plenty of lemon juice and a little bit of cinnamon. Delicious!
  • ​Key Lime Pie: If I had known how easy it was to make this pie I would have made it much sooner. The combination of the sweet graham cracker crust and the tart creamy filling will have you coming back for more.
