It's Pumpkin Season! 🎃

Hey Reader,

Pumpkin has become one of my new favorite flavors in the last few years. It adds moisture and an earthy sweetness to baked goods, not to mention that beautiful orange color. With fall in the air, I hope you enjoy this collection of recipes.

For all my muffin recipes I recommend using Libby Pumpkin Puree. It's my go to puree because it has a slight sweetness, a beautiful orange color, and it's thick (not watery at all.)

  • Pumpkin Streusel Muffins: If you like me, you eat the top first on any treat that has streusel then you'll enjoy these muffins with a pecan brown sugar streusel.
  • Pumpkin Bread with Cream Cheese Frosting is a classic for a reason. These two flavors just go together and my pumpkin bread won't disappoint.
  • Coming in with a another streusel topping is this Banana Pumpkin Bread with a crunchy cinnamon topping. If you haven't tried it banana and pumpkin make a good combo.
  • Another classic is these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. I like semi-sweet chocolate in these but don't hesitate to go with a bittersweet chocolate.
  • And if you want to learn the basics of making delicious muffins start with these moist and soft Pumpkin Muffins. Ready in less than an hour you can have fresh warm muffins in the morning.

All of these recipes use the muffin method involves combining the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another bowl and then combining them by hand. The purpose of this method is to limit the amount of gluten development during the mixing process, which keeps quick breads tender.

Happy Baking!

Cheryl
